There are hundreds of opportunities for dedicated environmentalists with specific skills, or no skills as yet, to integrate into an economy where significant elements are now and have always been sustainable and local. These elements are under serious attack today from corporate capitalism. They need our support. You will be helping to maintain and restore a low carbon footprint society that disappeared in the UK in the 1960s and 1970s and which many are now trying to recreate. It still exists here but without your support it may soon disappear.
